About Eye7

How to have great-looking graphic design that works:

Knowing who the intended audience for a communication piece is just as important as what is said, and the presentation needs to be tailored to match both message and audience, whether the tone be light, humorous, elegant or austere. We take graphic design very seriously and always seek to determine as much as possible before beginning designing, so these questions can be answered, in order to bring our clients the very highest, most effective communications pieces, whether for use as printed or web-based materials. Here are 3 basic rules to adhere to:

Rule #2

The Message Comes First.

This is the cornerstone of my philosophy at Eye7. The customer’s message — whatever it is — is the most important element of any design, and bringing the message across effectively is what makes a design a successful one.

Rule #1

Don't Jump on the Bandwagon.

Be who you are, and let your communications materials stand apart from the crowd. Those who have made the trends and set the standards are those who aren't afraid to be different, to buck the trends, to not become just another voice in the crowd. Remember, as soon as everyone jumps on a trend, it's no longer trendy.

Rule #3

Keep it Simple.

Once you've established what your message is, don't let the message get lost in a lot of fancy tricks. Ask yourself: What do you want to say, and to whom do you want to say it? and then stick with that.
