Corporate Identity, Branding, Logo Design

Here are a few considerations to keep in mind when deciding how you want the world to see your business:

Keep It Simple
A good logo should be easily identifiable at any size. The logo should print easily whether in color or in black or white. Keep in mind that too many colors will impact the cost of all your identity materials — stationery, business cards, and so on.

Establish a Mood
Do you want people to see your business or product as conservative and stalwart, or light and humorous?

You may want to Choose a Tagline — a few words which sum up your business or product. if you do, then you should probably define the lockup, or relationship (in size and position) between the Logo and its tagline. This lockup should be adhered to whenever the logo is reproduced.

User Guides should be created to establish how logos are used when they will be printed by different vendors or used on many different products. Most importantly, Stay Consistent.

When Conti Corporation decided to update their look, we created this more modern Logo for them, as well as stationery, business cards, a new website and a brief User Guide, to establish usage of the new Logo in advertising.

The User Guides, shown below, were created in advance of the launch of the Splenda sweetener product. Eye7 also created the illustrations in these Guides, which show in detail how the Splenda seals should be used on products.
